MULCH

The front and side of our house was pretty much overrun with weeds.  I decided a fantastic way of making our house look better, weed and mulch.  I think it ended up making the outside look incredible.

Mudding

I learned the fine art of mudding while we were preparing our house.  Jim did an amazing job finishing the basement.

Bathroom was finished, moved onto our bedroom.  I did like the pale yellow paint we used originally.  I thought it brightened up the room unlike the dark brown paint on the walls when we bought the house.  Once again, we choose an eggshell color for the walls.

One of the unfortunate things about moving was giving items away.  The fireplace heater was recently purchased and did provide some warmth during our winter months.  The china closet was a gift from my aunt but we did find a nice couple who could use it.

The last picture is our cabinet above the refrigerator.  This was removed in 2008 during Katie's birthday party. Our refrigerator died and we bought a new refrigerator.  We measured incorrectly and had to remove the cabinet.

The girls said goodbye to their stickers, pictures, and paintings on their wall.  We knew a neutral color would be the way to go but it was sad seeing the stripes and Kristen's beautiful, fun picture of Murphey, go.

One of the pointers the real agents gave us about the house, new paint and new carpet.  We bought the paint for the bathroom but never used it.  This was the only room painted a pleasant, bright turquoise color, thank God.
